Oh, so that's how it could get worse...

Yes, the excuse for Wraith not going straight to his mother, Flame Caster, after all these years is quite simple:  He doesn't know if he can trust her because of his future visions showing her and everyone else becoming villains.  Outside of the comics, the reason is so I have a character I can use for solo her challenges, but canonically, this is why.

Of course, just to add some confusion, regular readers may actually recognize some of the evil Immortals shown here.  Wraith's visions do indeed always come to pass, but they are open to interpretation, so his conclusion may not be entirely accurate at first.

And my god it was fun drawing the original Storyteller again.  It's weird how I've grown to love this design, and kind of a shame that they aren't a character anymore in the comics... for the moment.
